Approximately 10 cm. Earlier blooms, they were a bit smaller.

Wow, think I've seen that one as a bag baby sometime recently, I'm going to have to go hunt it out. My sister loves blue violet purples, so it would make a good present for her too.

I think the blue has something to do with office lighting. It's a good purple, maybe a tad on the reddish side.
You are correct in connecting this with the bagged orchids. Mine came in a bag from Lowes, a Better Gro plant. I remember about that time that someone on the forum was arguing that only inferior unhealthy orchids were sold that way. . . HA!!! I have many happy orchids purchased this way.
