WOW!! Those blossoms are amazing!

I'm also admiring your hanging setup; I'm going to file some of that away for potential future use, it looks more space-efficient than trying to set up shelves.

Thanks, yes it works very well for space constrained growing! That south window is less than 3ft wide, and I'm only using 3-4ft vertically of it (except a bulbo high up). You can do a very similar setup with 3 straight bars of conduit spaced apart from window, no bending needed, just make different length hangers. I use a large shoe tray on floor to catch any drips after watering

Did you make the macrame/net hangers that hold the plant pots, or buy them somewhere? And do you remove the plants completely, or does the whole thing go in the water?

I've been thinking about getting some macrame-type hangers (or making them) for some of my non-orchid plants, but between not having hooks or bars (yet), and concerns about it making watering more difficult, I haven't actually done it.

If you look for synthetic macrame cord, they should dry out quickly and not rot. I used to be quite the macrame enthusiast, until my joints gave out.
