Very creative! I am impressed that you thought outside the box! The blooms are lovely. What window is that? I see no supplemental lighting.

I've been using this setup for a year now and I'm really liking it. I'm growing cattleyas, dends, paphs, oncs, a zygo, a phal, a bulbo, and a couple jewels in that same window! Most of them are doing well, its all about the placement. Some I'm sure would like it a little warmer and more humid. It's in my office at work so its difficult to keep humidity at or above 50%. Unfortunately, for convenience sake, they all bathe in the same bath, but none are worse for wear and I haven't had any problems. I don't do this for my orchids at home, nor would I recommend the practice.
Thanks everyone for your kind words! Only you guys could appreciate this, sometimes I get the eyebrow raise from 'normal' people

Forgot to mention this is a south facing window, so things move around seasonally to avoid leaf burning. No supplemental lighting. There's a humidifier and small fan at ground level blowing upwards.
