I've taken a liking to reed stem type epi's and this one has turned out to be an all around perfect orchid for me... except it's not a mini... but beyond that, it grows outdoors on my balcony, handles 100 degrees without too much issues, and comes from high elevations so it can handle pretty low temps as well... flowers whenever happy- got it in bloom in july and had been blooming and reblooming on spikes for at least a few months, then two spikes formed in meantime and the flowers have been flowering for the last month, with the 2nd spike beginning to open, and the old spike respiking currently... oh, and it's handled humidity down to 20 %. so knock on wood, an orchid that has proven to not only grow but succeed in my conditions. Does need pure water, and I water it fairly regularly, although let it dry out between waterings. Also, grow it in shade, as opposed to my otherwise fairly sunny balcony. Also a plus, beautiful reddish/purplish foliage to combine with a color combo on the flowers I love.

Sounds like a real tough orchid with great colour and nice inflorescence.
