Cattleya warneri var coerulea 'Clownface'
This is the second blooming of this seedling from Orchids Limited. Last year it had one flower about 15 cm. This year it produced two flowers at 16.5 cm. Every year it's getting bigger, hopefully to about 18 cm to match it's parent (C. warneri var coerulea 'Do Suzuki' AM/AOS x self).
It was passed at the Montreal ECOS show this past weekend due to smaller size. Next year maybe bigger as it gets stronger with more flowers (parent had five when awarded).
I just love the lilac colour and the yellow eyes in the white lip!

Yes the entire area is fragrant!
And I only hope I can grow the plant to its potential! As I don't have a GH, it will be a small challenge!
