*sigh* I have all the willpower of a bowl of jello. $ is very tight for me right now. So what do I do this weekend? I went to help an os set up (not sure if I'm going to 'join' yet -- still miss my old os) at a show. Well one of the perks is getting the first look at what the venders have brought in to sell before the general public even gets a chance. It's not uncommon for a vender to show up with one or 2 really choice plants. These often get snapped up by other venders or the folks who are involved in set-up. The general public never even has a chance. I had planned on being good and just looking. (& considering my lack of funds and space, that's often no as hard as it sounds. I've found I'm getting a lot pickier.) Well it was a case of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" & being in the wrong place at the wrong time. *sigh* I came home with:

Pot Creation 'Summer Choice'. (Oh and the lip really is this dark)

Lovely plant! Oh, and I wouldn't have had the "won't " power either.

I think there are a lot of us rolling around in that same bowl of Jell-O! I went to a show last weekend vowing I would only buy plants from my wishlist....right! I came home with 2 Paphs, 1 Phrag, and a Mtssa. Dark Star 'Darth Vader'. The only one on my list was the Mtssa. and it's so tiny I probably shouldn't have bothered. So! Don't feel like the Lone Stranger!

The blooms are spectacularly gorgeous, well worth the trip to "the dark side".

Anything worth doing is worth doing in excess!!

I have *no* willpower when it comes to stuff I want; after all, why should I live without it? (and I wonder why I'm always broke.. lol)

I almost forgot - absolutely gorgeous flower!
