Blc. Husky Boy 'Romeo' wrinkled dehydrated leaves

My husband gifted me this orchid that I have dearly wanted for over three years since our son is named Romeo.

I have a question. I had it over potted in lava rock and hydroton in a clay pot. It seemed to be too moist or I over watered it not knowing that the lava rockets quite porious.

The leaves began to wrinkle and it's not so pretty as when I received it 😟

The two new growths have active roots growing.

I repotted it into s/h with only hydroton.

I didn't know I had to presoak it until after the repot.

I am sure this means I have to water more frequently or I just goofed all my orchids up!😨

I can take a picture of it tomorrow.

If the roots are not dead, you are underwatering. You can probably water every day in LECA.
