Strays Followed Me Home From HD

My last two trips into town to pick up things from H.D. ended up with strays following me home.

The lighter colored one, on the Left, is a BLC. Mahina Yahiro 'Mishima'.
It is lightly fragrant.
It followed me home last week.
it's been blown over a couple of times and the flower is damaged.

The darker one on the right is a BLC. Purple Ruby #15. It has a much stronger fragrance.
It followed me home yesterday.
The photo doesn't do its color justice.
It's like a dark purple velvet, an amazing color.

There are so many growers and breeders around here that they end up dumping their leftovers and other fine orchids at the farmers markets, HD and other low priced outlets. Even with cheap orchids, I buy so many that I'm going broke.

If my local HD carried these I too would take home many strays. How could you resist

all I can say is: you lucky dog you!! not only to live in Hawaii where orchids grow EVERYWHERE, but to find such jewels in your hd!!!
