Cattleya Dal's Buddy
This guy has grown on me after the initial disappointment about the color and degree of splashing on the petals. I was hoping for a fiery red with orange or yellow flares, so obviously this was a surprise
It is fragrant of sweet grass and sunscreen.... Others have described it differently, but that is how it smells to me. It is definitely a weak and subtle smell though.
Height: 6'' a miniature orchid.
bloom size: 4'' on a self supporting gently arched spike.
Bloom season: Free flowering off of new growths.

It has a very nice shape to it. I do understand when you are expecting a bright color then get one that is more pale than you thought it would be. But all orchids seem to grow on me. I have one that disappointed me in color but I still like it.

Thanks! It is pretty and well shaped, just not what I expected from other plants in this grex.
