Rlc. Ports of Paradise 'Emerald Isle' FCC/AOS in bloom
Rlc. Fortune x Rl. digbyana. This is in bloom for me. It is a robust grower that seems to bloom on every growth. I also have the cultivar 'Green Ching Hua' which has a bit different shape and more fringing on the petals as well as the lip. This one has the better colour in my opinion although the other is pretty good too. The front bloom in the photo is 18cm wide (7 inches).

It's a beauty. How large does the plant grow?

The fragrance is just a nice floral scent. Can't really describe it more than that. Like a florists when you walk in I guess. I thought I remembered it as lemony, but I think just the colour made me think it would be like that. Or maybe the other cultivar I have smells like that. but not this one.

It is a good sized standard type. The tallest leaf is close to 24 inches, which is from the table top to the leaf, not the leaf itself. It's a fairly robust grower. o it needs some head room under lights.

Yay, Ports of Paradise! Love this hybrid Pat, thanks for sharing it with us. Must be the Rl. digbyana that makes it so attractive (love that too!)
