I love the nodosa hybrids, and Bl. Richard Mueller (B. nodosa x. L milleri) can't be beat as a producer of hardy floriferous weeds. This is RM x. Blc. Toshie Aoki. Had it for years, blooms several times a year (whenever it matures a growth it seems) and like the other RMs it throws multiple leads like there's no tomorrow and stays compact. Unfortunately they don't seem to be fragrant, this one is no exception. Like the other RMs it also has the fading color changing blooms- they open almost red and are golden yellow at senescence.

Photobucket has decided to stop cooperating; I'll try to add my other photo tomorrow. They are a few days younger/redder than this first photo.

Here it is, the flower in the foreground had just split, the gold ones way in the back are an older spike on the same plant.
