I absolutely love this cattleya!!! It is bullet proof due its habit of growing a flurry of roots off of every bulb. This is its first blooming, but I am expecting it to bloom again this fall off of the three new leads its putting out.

Height: 10-12'' including the pot....excluding the spikes.
Scent: very light day time fragrance of incense.
Bloom season: so far spring....perhaps fall as well.
Bloom size: 3''. I wish it had more flaring, but it is still lovely.

Nice showing. If it blooms on 3 it will be an even better show. I have a couple of ones that are colored like this one. Love it.

It is the happiest plant I own. The entire pot has been taken over by roots, and I have never seen an orchid with as many fat bulbs.

I was so successful with this plant that I am now potting all my cattleyas like I potted this one. I used a small layer of moss at the bottom to hold more water. In Phoenix Arizona, cattleyas seem to actually love a bit of moss because of how fast my pots dry out.
Thanks!
