I can remember catalogs back in the early 1960's having this. There is a colour pic also. Had a few seedlings from it back then. No idea what they were like now.

This is a very difficult flower to photograph with a DSLR, especially when using studio fluorescent bulbs. Color balance and rendering of the purple were a battle, and still the flower color isn't accurate. Oh well! You get the idea.
