Default Cattleya luteola








A cute small Cattleya species I got from John Marcotte. The colours are almost like bright olive greenish yellow. Very fragrant in mornings too. Flowers are around 5 cm in natural spread. I find that it like low to medium light and slightly wetter than other cattleyas.

Very sweet! Almost has a bonsai look to it as I thought those pbulbs were not so curvey naturally.

Nice! I recently acquired a specimen that definitely qualifies as a rescue. Nice to have a goal in mind now!

Thanks all! I killed my first one as I let it dry too much in between. Once I learnt it liked water, my second division did much between here. 🙃

Outstanding, this is one of my faves. One day I will have one. I guess I did have one last year. I found a rootless one when I was at Fantasy Orchids last May and they gave it to me. It did try and put out a new growth but sadly it never put out any roots and then died
