The better light picture shows the beautiful light coloration. It might develop a bit more depth to that blushing on the lip w/in a few days.

Yes, I have the same plant. I picked it up at a show in Feb '15...it was in bloom so I was able to see how nice it is. I had a coerulea nobilior that I got a few years back and when it bloomed out last year it was awful and, at that point, I wasn't willing to spend the money these guys demand only to turn around and pitch it when I see the flower. I could see the flower was really good...I bought it. Mine is in bud right now so this will be the first bloom that I can actually take credit for. And I'm thrilled! I love these guys...both nobilior and walkerianas.

Of course, having good luck w/one...I got brave and bought another coerulea at our spring show and it's still a year (at least) away from blooming...fingers crossed I didn't waste my money.

FWIW - I'm fairly certain both our Snowball x Blanc clones came from H&R nursery. Known for very good nobiliors...as well as walkerianas. And, I'm pretty sure the nobilior coerulea I got this spring also came from them so I'm very hopeful it'll be good.

Really attractive bloom on this one. I like the subtle colors and the nice shape.

Fragrance is starting to ramp up. I'd swear it smells exactly like my Gongora fulva. And the Gongora is getting close to opening up a new spike full of blooms, so a side by side comparison could happen.
