Cattleya nobilior Male
Default Cattleya nobilior

This was flowering around January 1, 2016. I have forgotten to post it. I got it from Florália. It came as Cattleya nobilior coerulea x coerulense. It tried to flower a couple times, but they blasted. I moved to warmer grow tent, and I finally get to see the flowers. It doesn't have the shape desired by some people, but I'm happy with it. I need to repot soon... Link to a blog post (but nothing extra there).

I see what you mean by the flower shape ...but it's still very pretty.

Well done...that's an impressive number of flowers so I guess it's making up for the blasted buds of the past. Good job!

Very cool! Its tough finding well shaped coerulea nobilior outside of Brazil. Do you know if the parents were named?

Thanks, I was happy to see 6 flowers (3 per inflorescence)!

I don't think that parents were named.
