Rhyncholaelia glauca
This was a rescue purchase last year at the NYBG Orchid show with no roots. It was my first cattleya and I managed to rebloom it! I'm beyond excited. Just opened today with no fragrance yet. I thought from online photos the lip would be white but it is just a slight lighter green than the petals/sepals. I love it!

Nice! What conditions do you give it?

It hasn't been a consistent culture. Purchased April 2015 and it put out tons of roots 3 weeks after repotting into medium bark. Grew 2 new pbs with sheaths and sat on my fire escape with full sun until late fall. It sure can take a lot of light as it barely had any red tinge to it when I was sure some days it would have been burnt. As a first cattleya, it was very tolerant of my noob treatment.
Came back indoors to my south window (obstructed) when temps neared 45. Heated apt stays around 70F. Humidity is pretty bad 30-35%. It went dormant all winter and this late Feb I installed lights which seemed to have triggered it to bud. It sits high up close to the lights & 2 months later this little cutie opened.

I had one for years and it appeared to need more light then got too much than what you give it..., never bloomed and eventually declined, probably from neglect, there was a point when the roots at all rotted or dried and I waited and waited for it to resprout and it never did. Still can't figure it out, but maybe with your story it's possible it didn't like the cold in winter (even though by others account it should have), as I grew it outdoors here in SoCal... anyway, congrats, really beautiful comeback for this guy!

Beautiful!!
I have a couple that I've been growing for a few years and both have been reluctant to give me any flowers. Even though they were in full sun all summer last year. Clearly, I'm missing some aspect of the culture...but I keep working on it because I love the flower so much that I'm not willing to give up, yet.
Well done!!
