Hi,
I got this cattleya in bloom in October 2014, since then I repoted it to find most of the roots gone- got "stress shrivel", then it suffered a nearly fatal fall (cats), spent last summer outside, and surprised me this spring with bloom. The scent is that of cloves & cinnamon.
Thanks for looking.
Beautiful flower, but increase your watering and humidity if possible. The leaves and pseudo bulbs are overly desecrated. Pseudo bulbs should be plump not shriveled. You won't be able to do much about the old growth as the damage is done, but you can keep new growths plump.
