Gorgeous! I tend to gravitate towards species, so I think that it is awesome that you collect unusually marked species plants.

Thanks! The species with flares and pelorica or unusually color forms usually catch my eye! For example leopoldii alba and guttata semialba. I hope to bloom those this summer!

Thank you both. I really like this species too and have collected a few different ones. There's another one coming into bloom that I'm excited about! It's also got flares... I see two buds about to pop out of the sheath!

I got them from growers in the US who sold me divisions., like Canaima and Steven Christofferson (CA).

I've known Steve for close to a decade now. I've not been able to contact Canaima Orchids for quite a few years. Is Michael still around?
