Cattleya white flower
Default Cattleya white flower

In January, this no ID white cattleya had 5 buds. At the end of the month, a sudden gale had toppled it down and destroyed 4 buds. Today, the only survivor is blooming in the cold wind.
This cattleya is a regular bloomer. It is easy growing and demand no special care. I grow it outdoor and water it only when I remember it. Its flower is big (about 4 inches across) and has a strong and wonderful scent.

It is lovely. To bad about the wind knocking off the other blooms.

I love the shape and the ruffled petals. Too bad its name is unknown.

very beautiful. Sorry for the loss of the other buds, but this one doesn't really need any help.

I had searched for the ID before, but in vain.

Also a nice compact plant habit.

Beautiful. I also like that it is compact. Plenty of room for that one.
