Thanks for it's story. I had a hard time deciding on if I was going to get this one and my orange one. I still at times wish I had both. I do like my orange one also. Mine is going to spill over it's 6 in. pot if I don't re-pot it when it is done blooming. I have to go in search of a pot. After that I will probably have to split it up.
Mine this year bloomed on 7 psb with 2 on each for a total of 14 blooms. But 78 I though I had a display. Does yours ever have more than 2 on a psb. Mine has never had more than 2.

For me, the 'Dark Waters' clone always has 3 or 4 blooms to a pseudobulb, and occasionally just 2, but thats rare.

I have always regarded this as one of the best cattleya hybrids. Your specimen is no exception. Love it!
