Cattleya lueddemaniana 'Yellow Eyes'
I love this lueddemaniana (got about 12 different divisions). It has deep yellow margins around the lip, as opposed to only the side lobes on a typical lueddemaniana ... It just opened yesterday and is still expanding...will post pics later to compare sizes.

Thanks guys. I think the petals will darken over the next few days as lavenders open quite pale pink. Maybe the lip too! Fingers crossed!

Cool plant😃
Doesnt have those, so I love that some of the plant shows, and not only the flowers.
It actually looks kinda cute- is it as compact as it seems? Love the color aswell😃

Lueddemanianas are compact, about 9-10 inches tall or less. They are also tight growing and can have 10 pseudobulbs in a 4 inch pot! A small foot print for a cattleya species with big flowers!

That's rather different. Really nice! They are a nice compact Catt with a decent size bloom. I find mine not as easy to bloom as some, not sure why. It has bloomed a few times, but not in the last year or so. any tips? My new growths have a lot of the purple freckles typical of this species so I think my light is bright enough.
