Brassavola grandiflora in bloom Male

Seedlings of Brassavola nodosa, var grandiflora, have been available from Exotic Orchids for a couple of years. I have bloomed one, but I do not have a regular nodosa, so I can't compare sizes.

Per Kew (and others), B. grandiflora is actually its own species and is not considered a variety of B. nodosa anymore. Brassavola grandiflora Lindl.

As for the identity of this exact plant, I can't help you there!

It sure is nice, though!
