Default Catts Losing Leaves

Some of my Catts have several leaves yellowing and falling off since I brought them indoors. Is this specific or is there a list of conditions to consider?

The list is very long. The worst possibility would be dead roots from being wet and cold. Especially in the winter, Catts need to dry between waterings.

Another possibility is too dry and cold. They will drop their leaves if they get too cold.

Another possibility is low humidity.

Without more information it's not possible to say much more.

The above answer is perfect - its so hard to say what could be causing it, but it sounds like a root issue. How are you watering? Were they wet when you brought them in? Any pests? What the sun exposure? How old are they? A little more information would really help!

Media and temps sound fine, unless media is rotten. However I have never owned a Catt that needed water every 3 days, unless mounted. Maybe your conditions are extremely dry, but it doesn't sound like it. Catt's need to drain very well and then dry out even down in the bottom and centre of media or you will likely have root rot. Do you know how the roots are? Since they are all in 6" pots are they all good sized plants of similar size? They are usually potted in pot sizes that match their root ball, leaving only a bit of extra space for a couple years of growth. Otherwise they stay wet too long and rot roots. Some pics would be really helpful. The fungus gnats can be an indication of moist conditions also.

I have tiny seedlings in 5cm pots that are going more than 3 days between waterings, and my day temperatures may be 30C. I agree they are likely staying too wet. I would expect a watering interval at those temperatures of 10-20 days.

My catt's in 4 inch pots have to be watered that often. I know it seems like to much but I was way under watering them especially after a re-pot. I was even drilling holes in them and stopped.
