Rlc. Chia Lin 'New City'
Rlc. Chia Lin 'New City' is one of my favorite red cattleyas. This bloom is 6" across and fragrant. Just in time of Christmas.

I've encountered several reports suggesting that this clone is more difficult to get to flower than some of the others. What is your experience with it, please?
Beautiful red, I agree! Once again I am tempted to buy....

Gorgeous again tucker85.
I have had one that I think should have bloomed several years ago, but not yet. I bloom a fair number of Catts including at least one with Chia Lin as a parent, but not this one. It is stubborn.

This one has blooms for me every year but it's kind of stingy with the flowers. I seldom get more than a couple flowers on it. I grow it outdoors in Florida so I don't have any experience trying to grow it under other conditions.

What a beautiful bloom for the holidays. This would brighten up any space either inside or out. Well done!
