Blc. Chia Lin x Love Sound 'Red Velvet'

This has been a reliable bloomer through the years.
It is a "color-shifter"; its starts with an orange cast with hot pink highlights. Later, it turns a deeper burgundy red. It is fragrant, slightly sweet yet spicy.

Very pretty!! It looks a lot more like Love Sound than Chia Lin. That's a cross made by Bill Fender of Venice, Fl. You might remember Blc. Sunsan Fender 'Cinnamon Stick' that Bill named after his wife. Bill's retired now. Your orchid has been registered with the name Rth. Fender's Love Song.

Nice color and presentation. I have a Love Sound. Hopefully it will bloom this coming year. I've drooled over Tucker's pictures of it. Based on your plant, Love Sound should make a good parent for red breeding. Thanks for posting.
