Cattleya purchased on name
Hope that this will turn into a continuous thread. Have you ever purchased a plant, simply because the name tickled your fancy?
I have two plants, that fall into this category. The first one, I actually saw in bloom at a show. The plant had poor roots, and was fallen over in the pot, but I could not resist the name = Psycho Bride 'NN'. It is a nice compact yellow, which has been posted on this board before.
The second one I bought sight unseen. But, when you come across something named C Persian Glory 'Road to China', and you are part Chinese and married to someone who is part Persian, what choice do you have?
