Getting Lc. Tropical Pointer 'Cheetah' to bloom?

I agree, maybe cooler nights or a cool winter. I was just reading an article where the author said usually no blooms is not enough light (commonly known) and if that is not the case, then lack of a diurnal range or a cool winter rest is often the other common cause of no blooms.

I find mine easily gets crimped up leaves so maybe I underwater.

I've had one of these for three years growing under lights in my house. It sat with all of my other catts that regularly bloomed for me, but the Tropcial Pointer never flowered. Finally, I took it to my office and within three months of sitting on the windowsill it finally bloomed this past fall. Wish I could say what I did it to make it bloom, but I really have no idea. The office is cooler than my home, it is definitely less humid than my home and I rarely fertilized it in the office and it wasn't watered as frequently. Maybe it was the near lack of regular fertilizing, the longer dry spells in between waterings, or the cooler air since it was sitting under the air conditioner vent, or maybe the early morning sun that did it.

No idea, but the flowers were amazing and the fragrance was incredible. I hope it blooms for me again!
