Brassavola Little Stars (Cordata ' Hihimanu' x Nodosa'Mas Major')
Brassavola Little Stars (Cordata ' Hihimanu' x Nodosa'Mas Major').
Not bad for a first bloom under my care. I picked this up several years ago at Home Depot. It was in a 2" pot and had maybe 5 growths. I repotted it to larger pot where it proceeded to sulk for a couple years. I finally got up the courage to try mounting it. It has rewarded me tremendously this year!

What a wonderful show of flowers! It must smell heavenly at night! I know I am looking forward to mine blooming.
I really like your mount, too. Nice job!

It has been wonderful! I am moving it to my bedroom tonight so I can enjoy it all night. It may get too strong; tonight is a test run!

Very nice, good growing! I bought one of those from Lowes a few years ago, was my first orchid that I ever got to bloom. I had it in a pot and moved it to a mount a year ago and mine definitely likes being mounted much better also. Mine is spiking right now, can't wait to smell that delicious fragrance again.

well done. That is one wonderful looking mount. A Den of some sort on the other side? It has so many blooms for a first time bloomer.
My nodosa is going to bloom for the first time but only on 2 growths. I'm still very stocked.

I figured out that my B. Little Stars also needed mounting - moved it mid-late summer and it is really growing well, but apparently no blooms quite yet. I am hoping maybe next season?
