C. Tokyo Magic x Ctt. Aussie Sunset 'Cosmic Fire'
Hi guys, I got this plant from Porter's Orchids during the MOS show last month. It was in bud at the time so the blooms were a surprise. The first opened within a few days and I was indeed happy. It has a wonderful fragrance like candy and roses mixed together. It's strong but not so much that I can smell it from a distance. Three blooms on a plant that is 8-10" tall, so it's a smaller Catt that's just right for me! Thought I had a pic of the whole plant, will have to come back with one later. Enjoy. (Crappy background but was just trying to get the bloom when it opened, later I'll add one of all three open now.)

Did you know this cross has a registered hybrid name? It is Ctt. (Lc.) Tropical Aurora. Registered in 2012

That is a beauty. Just one of the colors I love. Is the lip that purple or magenta?

Thanks Silken! I did not know that, will make it easier to remember.
Thank you all for the compliments, though I can't take credit for the bloom I am so thrilled with the color given it wasn't get open.
I try to show pics that provide the most accurate colors but with orchids I've found this can be tricky. That said I was happy with the accuracy of this photo until you asked then I double checked. So in the light of the image yes that is how it appeared looking at it now however it's still quite dark but more dark magenta sliding to red to yellow. In a warmer light it looks dark red... kind of an answer. Lol.
Thanks again! I wish we could share fragrances, this one I really really like.

Want a shorter answer? It's kind of both...
