New Laelia anceps hybrid Male
Default New Laelia anceps hybrid

Here is a first bloom seedling from a new direction of breeding from Fred Clarke. I bought 3 of these earlier this year. The first one to bloom has 4 flowers on the spike. There is one more in spike, with 5 buds.

This is (LCN Helen Christie x Laelia anceps). Helen Christie is CTT Porcia x Laelia gouldiana, so this plant is 75% Mexican Laelia.

All 3 plants are very vigorous, having 3-4 leads each by the time they reached blooming size.
