I didn't realize dowiana was an autumn bloomer. The colors are so vibrant and varied, it looks like a hybrid! Is this typical for the species?

OrchidWiz shows late summer to early winter to be the main blooming season. Late summer to early autumn is what Baker's culture notes say.
