My plant order has arrived!!!
My orchid order arrived today!!!
I am over all quite impressed with what I received!
Three of the four plants I ordered arrived in spike!
I took pictures of three of them, the fourth one, an Oncidium Twinkle 'Fragrance Fantasy' I left at work for now. It has two spikes and I think my co-workers will enjoy watching them grow.
Two of the plants are Laelias:
Laelia anceps 'Ruby Heart' in spike
Laelia anceps var. veitchiana with TWO spikes and a new growth. It has two leads!
The last plant is a Cattleya Landate. It is looking great as well!
I have to say, I did not expect these plants to be so mature! They are looking really good I think!!!
I ordered them from Santa Barbara Orchid Estate.
Here are some pics
All three of them:
Laelia anceps 'Ruby Heart':

I've always had great luck with Santa Barbara Orchid Estate. And I think your plants just prove my point. Great looking plants.

This was my first order with them and I was really happy with the customer service they provided, I have to say! I would definitely order from them again.

NeofinetiaCanada, the company packed the four plants into a box that measured 8 x 8 x 50 inches.
The two Laelias with their huge spikes where placed with one pot at each end, facing each other. Dowels, that measured the full length of the box, where put into the media, to keep the plants from falling into each other and crushing each others spikes. The other two smaller plants where placed into the center of the box. Filling material kept those two plants from falling around and damaging the other plants. VERY well packaged!
