Default NOID Cattley need help to identify

I got this Catt bare root at one of the shows. And somehow manages to loose the tag in all the commotion lol for some reason I remember Burgundy being part of the name like Burgundy Prince or Kind or something like that ... But couldn't find anything by that name in the registrar. King of Taiwan sorts of looks like it could be it, but that one seems to have yellow on the lip. This guy is very dark, I brought it in last night and in inflorescent light the lip almost looked black. It has a nice rose fragrance, good size bloom, tall plant, a bit or frill on the leaves by the base. Any ideas?

I think you're out of luck. There are simply too many cattleya types with the word "burgundy" in its name, and even if you do find a photo that looks similar, you'll never really know for sure, as individual plants of the same hybrid can look different.

Yea, that's what I've been thinking it actually really looks like BLC Guanmiao City "Black Flower" .... Hmm.

Could you contact the vendor you bought it from and ask. There are so many big floofy Catts with similar look, it is impossible to name it by looks alone.

That's what I was thinking, and the funny part is I already have a Guanamo City "Black Flower" so I wouldn't have bought another one lol ... I think I got it from Water Orchids and from their site it looks most like BLC Chai Lin. But I guess I could shoot them an email
