I first bought this plant from Home Depot as a bag orchid (one of those 4" bag babies that Better-Gro has). That was January of 2014. It's finally bloomed for the first time. I have a total of 4 buds on 3 p-bulbs. Probably could have bloomed sooner had I known how much light cattleya orchids require.

Here was the orchid back in 1/24/2014, after it was taken out of the store plastic pot and repotted:

The plant was repotted again in early 2015, and here it is blooming today:

In the shade, the salmon/pink color shows up better:

I have one of these! It is in really good shape, but giving me only one sheath. Yes indeed! They need a lot of light and that is not really easy for people who try to grow them in the house. I really tend to think of Catleyas as outdoors plants.

I love it, nice coloring : )

Are you sure of the name??

The markings and overall idea looks about right, but the color is way off.
These are Salmon Pink/Peach. The shape is rather off as well.

I also have a George King Serendipity from HD. I bought mine in the summer of 2013 and it is just now ready to bloom for the first time. I moved it to a sunnier location this summer and it has three p-bulbs with sheaths one with one bud ready to open. It also has 6 other p-bulbs, three of which are just getting big enough to see if they have a sheaths and three smaller ones. It will be interesting to see if any of the newer ones have buds.
