Many thanks.

I grow all my violacea under intermediate temperatures (42°C max 13-14°C mini) but with a very good ventilation.

Gee, I can achieve those temps. I would have thought 13 or 14C a bit too cool. In winter my nights get to 14 or 15 and days about 17 Celcius. Summer plenty warm, but not that hot and fairly warm nights. Maybe I should try one.

All my Catt hybrids can take min temp down to 50f/10c sometimes a bit lower. They are all supposed to be intermediate. However my day time temp in winter usually bounces back to around 20c/70f
I read somewhere that the trick is day time temps need to be much higher if your night time temp is low. Correct me if I am wrong

Do you grow violacea's as well? I can find slightly warmer little areas in my cool greenhouse and use several heat mats for the real fussy ones. I also use that space blanket stuff on my shelves and up the back which really reflects light and heat from the lights.
