Laelia sincorana media?

Good evening everyone,
I recently got a laelia sincorana and am stuck on what media to put it in. To mount on cork, pot in bark, or to pot in sphag. That is the question? Would it work in bark? I usually water once a week.

I grew mine in leca in a clay pot. It likes to dry out fast so anything that allows you to water heavy and often when it's in active growth but allows the roots to dry off quickly should keep it quite happy.

Watering once a week on a mount will not be enough most of the year. It's probably safe to say that would be the same for just about any mounted orchid...unless your growing space is very humid. Make that overwhelmingly humid.


BTW - This little species does best w/the highest end of catt light.
