Default Cattleyas in Bloom

I have these three Cattleyas in bloom. The plants are growing in plastic pots with bark as the media. The plants are grown outside under 50% shade cloth. These are all mericlones that I obtained a few years ago from Kodama Orchid Nursery in Waianae.

The flowers on Potinara Hsinying Pink Doll 'Hsinying' are fragrant and long lasting. The plant will throw a large head of flowers held high above the foliage as it gets older.

Lc. Final Blue 'Royal Purple' is a compact plant that produces a nice head of 4-inch flowers. The plant has C. walkeriana as one of the parents.

Lc. Callistoglossa var alba 'Taylor' is a large plant with large glistening white flowers.

Thanks everyone. I have to keep watching for thrips. They love these flowers.

My Hsinying Pink Doll and Final Blue are blooming now. Yours look much better than mine.
Are these thrips on this petal?

Yes, those little elongated whitish critters do look like thrips. They can be very destructive if left untreated.
