Yes I live in Los Angeles it will be outdoors here, I have over 60 orchids(Vandas,Dendrobium,Catts.,Brassavola hybrids and species amongst other types) that grow outdoors here all year, I also have them mounted on trees. It has snowed were I live and often it hails, I have seen plants covered with frost.
I found a seller on eBay, same place my friend got this one.
