I got another Catt.
For some reason I did not see many Cattleyas in stores when I was first buying orchids. Maybe I was not really looking or they were hidden from me.
I found another Catt with a tag LC.bigtime 'GL#9 . It's cute and smells weird. It's not a bad smell but it's not a normal flower scent. It's a healthy looking plant.

That sure is purdy!!! Those blooms are magnificent. I'm never lucky enough to find catts in my area.

That is pretty. I wonder what the ancestry of it is? I can think of a few in the Cattleya family that are said to smell a little weird. Maybe you will grow to like the uniqueness of the scent. |

It really only smells in the afternoon. The smell is so weird I can not describe it. I found somewhere that said the big time #9 is a (Loog Tone x C. White Bridal)
