Default C. walkeriana fma caerulea Maribondo - mericlone

Hello this is my mericlone of maribondo, a classic and native walkeriana caerulea clone colected in the hills of maribondo, Minas Gerais Brasil. Introduced to the world by Nilton Gonçalves, this plant was used intensively in the last years and is present in the bloodline of most caerulea clones of this days.

Nice. I like these a lot but I'm not too successful in growing them.

What a beauty! Great information, too! I really like the walkerianas and their primary hybrids. If I had a greenhouse or lived in the right climate, I would probably make a collection of them.

I bought a walkeriana seedling a few years ago from Al's Orchid Greenhouse and put it in a plastic basket with red lava rock. It has been pretty easy to grow in that set up. I grow most of the walkeriana hybrids in a similar manner.

Tough to see the flower with the dark photos, but it looks pretty nice!
