Cattleya aclandiae
This C. aclandiae ('Iguassu' x self) is blooming for the first time. As it is a selfing, I wasn't quite certain what I would be getting when I purchased it but I am quite pleased. The fragrance is strong and wonderful.

Wow, it is nice! Quite different from mine. Yours has wider petals and all white lip. Mine had pink lip and narrower petals. All gorgeous!

Thank you! They are great little orchids, aren't they? I mainly bought this for the fragrance.

Mine had such a strong fragrance, it was a bit hard to take After mine finished blooming in June, it immediately put out a new growth from the just bloomed one. It then bloomed in August. Sure didn't expect that!

Ahhh, you got a rare albescens. I'm not sure what the background of 'Iguassu' is but according to EOM the selfing produced albescens and coerulea forms. I have one of these too but I'm not sure what it looks like yet.

brsucculents, yes, this one came from Exotic Orchids of Maui. I cannot wait to see what you have gotten.
silken, mine is outside so it isn't overpowering though I did smell it from a distance.
Thank you, everyone, for the kind comments.
