Interesting cross, and good persistence getting it to bloom. It doesn't appear to be registered. You might want to correct the name of the Plum Perfection parent though. C. not Lc. NOT a case of reclassification, only classic Cattleya species (loddigesii, guttata, aclandiae, dormaniana) in Plum Perfection. It never was Lc. Lower case p for the species B. perrinii too.

Nice. I love how the flowers hang down before opening. 5 years is a long time but it looks like it was worth it.

I really like the color of this cross. Please post pictures when more flowers open up. I wonder if the later flowers will be nodding or erect.
