RLC Memoria Shirley Moore 'Newberry'
Even though I am not a fan of green Cattleya flowers, I do appreciate flowers with a good color contrast. So, in the NJOS auction in March, I decided to bid on this one, even though the plant was a bit 'skinny'.
I put a decent growth on it, and it graced me with a single flower, so I could see what I got. Now I need to grow it maturity, so I can get some more flowers on the spike.

So is it green? It looks yellow from the photo. Cameras can do that. How does it compare to Rlc. Mem. Helen Brown? It a yellowish green with a small redi lip.

Wow this one looks a lot like Sc. June Bug 'Venice Sunshine'. I love these yellow/greens with striking lips!

Let's compromise and call it a yellow-green.
