Default Brassavola digbyana

I've had this for over twenty years, jungle collected by Gary Hammer. Grows outside in the Los Angeles area, has seen freezing cold nights and very hot summer days, plant was much bigger but a few years ago mount dropped and broke off several leads, those leads were mounted onto a cork log and are now blooming.

Notice lower right spike it is a double.

Wow! Is it growing in that sunny spot or did you move it for the photo?

Moved for photo, it grows under 40% shade cloth with an area that has open lath do it does get some direct sun during the day, so it gets morning/afternoon sun then shade from cloth, I do have several other orchids that are mounted, they get full sun no shade cloth, but they don't get late afternoon sun

Lovely! I have two that have previously bloomed but no sign of blooms yet this year. They get full morning and early afternoon sun, then 50 % shade cloth the rest of the day. Hmmmm.....
