How large is the plant Pat and can you share your culture details for it please?
Of course! I took a picture of the orchid next to a measuringtape (don't know if that is correct English). It is in cm! The big leaf in the corner of the picture is from another Catt hanging near by.

It's in a small clay pot, which i hung in a selfmade wire basket, it hangs close to the roof, so high light levels all day, it only gets morning and afternoon sun (shaded in summer with a 38% shadecloth), if and when it shines (it is still the Netherlands ). It is watered 2 times a week with Akerne rainmix (fertilizer from Belgium) when it is really hot it gets 1 watering a week more. Temps in summer range from 35-22 Celcius, in winter from 26-18. (Day-night) That's it! Hope this helps a little bit

I like how you've hung the plant. Great idea!

Merci Steve! It is a great way to accomedate more orchids that aren't mounted. And because the new growths tend to go forward, the flowers are always nicely presented! Just some wire-netting and a piece of plastic coated wire, and voilà!

This past spring I bought one from H & R Nurseries; do not know if seedling or mature plant, still has not bloomed. It is very strong, a tree fern mounted tin sphagnum moss over the roots, high light levels, (50-90)% RH, temperature (15-38) degrees Celsius. It can be watered non stop as nothing happens bad.
