C. nobilior
Got this from Redlands this year from Bela Vista orchids. I'm really happy with the high flower count for such a small plant. Thanks for looking!

Very nice blooms, i'm especially fond of the upright dorsal sepal on your plant.
How long have the flowers been open, and do you know its parentage by any chance?

It just opened today. I checked this morning before class and they were closed, so I'm hoping the lips flatten out a bit more. Thanks for your kind words! It is my first nobilior. full name is C. nobilior (coerulia x. coerulense)

Arrggghhh!!! I had several people looking for a coerulea nobilior at Redlands and they came up with nothing!! I'm very jealous!!!
Congrats on getting this, its nearly impossible to find coerulea nobilior in the US. Once your plant acclimates to the seasons in the northern hemisphere and starts blooming in winter, let me know if you ever want to do a pollen swap with my coerulea.

I actually pre-ordered for Redlands, so that a friend could pick up the order for me. It would have been a dream to go in person to the festival, so that might be why your friends had a hard time finding one.
Would love to do a pollen swap! I will keep you posted on its next blooming, and hopefully ours will coincide.

Ahhhh, see that's smart!! I'll probably do the same next year.
And I look forward to future pollen swaps!
