This is a plant that I have had for about 30 years.
Cattlianthe Golden Wax is quite a variable grex, with some plants bearing nearly solid yellow flowers, others having more or less red in the lip and in the petals or sepals.
I also see color differences with the light that the plant blooms in. Here is an older photo, winter 2013, bloomed indoors under fluorescent light:
The photo below I took today, the color is stronger than usual, more red. It bloomed in higher light, outdoors.
You can see in both photos that a little peloria evident. I have seen clones of Cattlianthe Golden Wax 'JF' that looks similar to mine (though this is NOT that clone)
