Brassavola cucullata
Got this one from Andy's orchids around Christmas time. She had a sheath form over the winter, but it dried up. Once the temperatures got warmer she put out this lovely spike.

I'm usually not one for the Brassavola types, but this one just has so much character. I read it has a skunky smell though It just opened last night and I couldn't smell anything, so I guess we'll see.

Beautiful. I've had mine for years and love it. It's currently loaded with keiki's. I'm trying to establish one on a treefern mount. Fingers crossed.

Beautiful! One on my wish list. I have a David Sanders and it grows/blooms well, so hopefully culculatta would too.

I have a David Sanders as well but I haven't gotten it to bloom yet. Here's to still hoping. It is putting out a new leaf so fingers crossed.
