Default Sophronitella violacea

I know that Susanne posted hers earlier in the week, but couldn't resist posting mine also.
I am in love with this flower, it is so bright and vivid!
It just seems to be screaming "Look at me!"

Thanks. This is probably one of my new favorites! Wish that the flowers had stayed around longer...

Gorgeous! I love this color. Thanks for sharing. How long have you been growing Laura?

It will be three years this April, that I have been growing orchids. Before that time, my mother used to give me a white phal every year for either my birthday or Christmas, but I never managed to get them to rebloom. After my Mom died, the latest one that she gave me re-bloomed and I decided to try a couple of others kinds.
I don't think my husband realized what I was getting into when he helped point the first ones out!!
